Huge thanks to @tarahwelsh and the @bbc team for showcasing the Blossom Antenatal experience as we teach breastfeeding to all the #lockdownmums-to-be.
As this piece says, we’ve now taught over 3500 women the skills they need as they approach the life-changing event Our qualified team of volunteers consists of midwives, lactation consultants and NCT trained teachers many of whom are currently working in the NHS, ensuring they have the most up-to-date information regarding C-19 and can share this with our expectant mums. We have been overwhelmed by the reactions from the parents who’ve attended our courses and we’re working on a response to this.
We have plans to offer more frequent and different classes going forward so please keep checking back both here on instagram and our new website is coming soon.
